Sveti lovrec, resides on a hill surrounded by olive grove and vineyard views.At the heart of the town is the the famous Church Saint Lawrence and the basillica of Sv Martin with bell tower.Dating back to the 6 th century. Sveti lovrec offers a ideal location for all local resorts, and is around 40mins away from pula airport.
The small town has a post office,
a super pizza restaurant,two small supermarkets, various coffe bars,chemist,and bakers.
Although Sveti Lovrec is around 15kms from the sea shore, it is only 6kms from the bay of lim fiord,
10km long and 5oo meter wide the bay gradually narrows inland reaching the dry kraska vally.
I visit the fish restaurants there frequently and the views are spectacular.
