DINOPARK FUNTANA

Dinopark Funtana is fun for all the family and is an interesting prehistoric theme park featuring dinosaurs. The park contains replicas of the giant reptiles that once lived on Earth, some of them featuring their real size of 16 meters.

The inner part of the complex includes a playground, magician programs, educational exhibits, a restaurant, internet corner and more.

Dinopark Funtana is situated along the main road passing through the village of Funtana and provides its own parking lot.

SCUBA DIVING

Croatia, with miles of beautiful coast and crystal clear waters, complimented with its many coves and islands, provides an idyllic Adriatic scuba diving experience. Strict regulations in Croatia stipulate that all diving must be carried out under the supervision of an authorized Diving Centre or Club, wherein a licenced instructor will assist in ensuring all rules are clearly understood as safety is a priority. For those wishing to learn scuba diving, consider taking a basic (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) course and within a couple of days you will be enjoying the wonders beneath the sea. Snorkling courses for minors are also available.

GOLF

The facilities for golf have come a long way in recent years in Istria, especially with the opening of an 18-hole championship golf course in Umag. This excellent golf course boasts its own luxury hotel, golf shop, wellness centre and an ultra modern club house. If you don't fancy a full round of golf, there are various golfing ranges, some with pitch and putt.

GO KARTING

There are two major go kart circuits, one in Pula and the other in Porec. Both offer excellent facilities and tracks, with Motodrom Porec also offering dirt track racing, quad biking and paint ball.

ISTRIA TENNIS

In Istria there are some 430 tennis clay courts, so wherever you decide to stay in Istria, you'll never be far away from a court. Istria is famous for tennis, with the resort of Umag hosting the rebound ATP Tour Croatia Open, whilst the Davis Cup also been held in the recently built Porec Dvorana Sports Hall.

WATER SKI POREC

Ski Lift Porec is a 650 meter long cableway for water skiing in Zelena Laguna.

At Ski Lift Poreč, one can ski at speeds ranging from 30 to 58 km per hour on all kinds of water-ski equipment. The purchase ticket includes the use of skis and standard safety gear.

Ski season starts on the Easter weekend, ending late November, with the facilty open from 10.00am to midnight during the period June to September.
